This basic course walks participants through an introductory view of disability insurance. Discussions will focus on the definition of disability, types of coverage, the need for disability coverage, contract features/provisions of both STD and LTD. Also, there is a general discussion of market trends and how disability insurance fits into the current employee benefits equation.
